Welcome to Barti, an online bartering service exchange platform for creatives, individuals, freelancers, and businesses. By accessing or using Barti, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
By registering with Barti, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use our platform.
Barti is open to creatives, individuals, freelancers, and businesses. Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use the platform. Users under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian over the age of 18. Users under 13 are not allowed to use Barti. Additionally, users must not be subject to any economic sanctions or trade restrictions imposed by the United States, European Union, or any other applicable jurisdiction.
- Users may only exchange services, not goods, on Barti.
- Users must accurately describe their services and fulfill all agreements made on the platform.
- All exchanges must occur within Barti.
- Exchanging services or demanding money outside of Barti is strictly prohibited.
- Users must maintain a professional demeanor.
- Posting inappropriate work or engaging in inappropriate discussions is strictly prohibited.Misrepresentation of work or lying about services will result in immediate removal from the platform.
- Requesting personal details like addresses or personal phone numbers outside the scope of bartering is prohibited.
- Rude, abusive, improper, or threatening language is not allowed.Barti does not allow Adult Services & Pornography, Phishing and Spam, publishing of other people's identities or private information, inauthentic profiles, fraud/illegal use, or alleged copyright infringement.
- Users are limited to one Barti account. Creating more than one account will result in termination from the platform indefinitely.
- Selling your Barti account is also prohibited.
Barti is open to helping resolve disputes but does not issue refunds for a bad exchange. Users are encouraged to read our best practices before bartering to ensure safety and a fair trade.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and passwords.
- Members must chat in the Barti inbox to discuss a trade.
- When video chat is necessary, a Google Meet or another safe video chat platform may be used.
- Barti is not liable for users engaging in video chatting.
- Discussions between members are confidential and are not to be shared with other members on the platform.
- Barti reserves the right to use all work submitted through Barti for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Users agree not to copy, transfer, adapt, modify, distribute, transmit, display, create derivative works, publish or reproduce any part of the Site, reverse engineer the Site, remove copyright notices, use unauthorized third-party software, or introduce malicious materials into our systems.
- Barti owns all rights, title, and interest in the Site and its content, including User Generated Content (UGC).
- Non-fulfillment: If a user does not fulfill their agreed-upon services, they will be permanently removed from Barti.
- Misrepresentation: Lying about services or work will result in permanent removal.
- Inappropriate Conduct: Posting or discussing inappropriate content will lead to immediate removal.
- External Exchanges: Any exchange of services or money outside of Barti will result in removal from the platform.
Barti is not obligated to proactively monitor user content for legality or compatibility with these Terms. However, Barti reserves the right to conduct voluntary checks and take appropriate actions if violations are identified.
- Users may file a complaint against Barti's decisions concerning content or account actions within six months of notification. Complaints must be submitted through Customer Support.
- Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) may select out-of-court dispute settlement bodies certified in accordance with Art. 21 (3) of the EU Digital Services Act.
Barti is not liable for the safety of its members. Users agree to follow our best practices to ensure safety and a fair trade.
Barti provides the platform "as is" and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Users may provide feedback on the platform, but Barti is not obligated to post it.Users may deactivate their account at any time but remain responsible for any outstanding balances owed.
